With the 4th of July coming up, I thought I’d share some EASY recipes that are perfect for any type of celebrating, even if it’s just hanging out at home. They’re all healthy options so you don’t have to worry about getting too off track in the midst of celebrating!

Patriotic Chia Parfaits – These parfaits are perfect for the occasion with their red, white and blue colors. All that’s needed is a batch of chia pudding, blueberries and strawberries.

Carrot Apple Sauce – It’s apple sauce that’s been boosted with nutrients! It makes a tasty side dish, and it’s great for kids! They don’t realize there’s a veggie in it! This is one of my son’s favorite things to eat.

Hibiscus Basil Lemonade – This lemonade’s bright red color will keep things festive in the drink department. It can be sweetened with your favorite sweetener, but if you use dates it won’t have that bright red color.

Superfood Salsa – This is not your average salsa. It’s packed with protein, antioxidants and more! There are so many ways to eat it – with chips, on tacos, a salad and more!

Caesar Salad – This dairy-free Caesar dressing is so creamy and delicious. I love it on any salad, but it’s especially good on kale!

3 Ingredient Fruit Sorbet – A sorbet that can be made any fruit flavor that's so refreshing in the heat. I mostly make strawberry as shown, which comes out a bright red color perfect for the holiday. If you add a blueberry and a banana sorbet along with it you'll have patriotic sorbet all day!

Black Bean Cilantro Dip – This dip comes together in under 10 minutes, and it only requires 5 ingredients! It tastes way better than store-bought and it’s better for you!

Brownie Ice Cream Bites – Calling all chocolate lovers! These brownie bites are naturally sweetened and good for you! They need to be kept in the freezer so if you’re looking for a dessert to keep out, you might just want to make the brownies.

Happy 4th of July! I hope it's a safe and fun one!
