These Chocolate Protein Cake Balls are a yummy treat. No reminded sweeteners and gluten-free. It's super easy to whip up a batch when you're wanting something sweet.
CHOCOLATE PROTEIN CAKE BALLS
Please use all organic ingredients when possible!
Servings 12 -15 bites
Ingredients
- 1 Flax Egg 3 tbsp ground flaxseed + 1 tbsp water - non vegans can use egg
- 1/4 cup Coconut Flour
- 1/2 cup Applesauce
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 3/4 cup Cacao Powder
- 2/3 cup Almond Butter or other nut butter you prefer
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
- Use a spoon to make little balls and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Bake for 20-25 min (check with toothpick method)
- Remove from oven and let cool for 15 min
